The best way to mix your nicotine shot into your e-liquid is by removing the cap or nozzle and pouring the desired amount of the nic shot in. Shortfills contain a 0mg e-liquid with enough room to add nicotine in up to a 3mg. For example, a 60ml bottle will contain 50ml of 0mg e-liquid, with room for a 10ml nic shot.

To make a 3mg e-liquid, mix 1 part nicotine to 5 parts flavoured base (your PG, VG and flavour concentrates). That means you divide the volume of the nicotine-free base liquid by 5, then add that much of the 18mg nicotine liquid. For each 50ml of nicotine-free e-liquid, you add 1 nic shot.

There is no restriction on the combination of flavors that can be used in e-liquids. However, the recommended ratio throughout the industry of flavor concentrate to volume of e-liquid is between 20 and 30 percent.

If you want maximum flavour out of your e-liquid, you want to choose an e-liquid with a balanced PG:VG ratio, so look out for a 50:50 ratio. Or favour PG in the e-liquid, so an e-liquid with a PG:VG ratio around 60:40.

Mixing different types of e-liquids, such as 50/50 and 70/30 formulations, is technically possible, but it requires careful consideration.

In short, 50/50 e-liquid is vape juice with a balanced 50% ratio of the main e liquid ingredients; propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin. These ingredients are otherwise known as PG & VG and are important in helping you choose the right type of e-liquid for your vape kit or vape tank.

The way to work out how much of the nicotine to use is to take the nicotine strength you want your e-liquid to be and divide it by the strength of your concentrated nicotine and then times that by the amount of liquid you are making. The result will be the amount in millilitres to add to the overall mix.

Is 3mg of Nicotine a Lot? 3mg nicotine strength is generally considered low and is in fact the lowest nicotine strength we stock (aside from 0mg). This strength is ideal for light smokers or vapers who have successfully weaned themselves off of higher strengths.
