How to Delete Your Temu Account

Deleting your Temu account is simple. However, the steps may vary depending on whether you're using a mobile app or a web browser.

To delete your Temu account, first, log in to the web version. Once logged in, click on your profile icon (Orders & Account) and select Account security.

On your account security page, scroll down and click Delete your Temu account. After that, tick the box that says, "I want to permanently delete my Temu account." Then, click Continue.

Temu then prompts you to choose a reason for account deletion. It's part of their feedback mechanism to understand why users are leaving. Choose a reason from the list and click Continue > Continue deleting.

A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm your decision. Click on Delete, and you might be asked to confirm your identity. Once you've done this, click Confirm. A pop-up will appear again asking you to confirm the deletion. Click Continue deletion, and you're done.

You will receive an email confirmation once Temu deletes your account.

Delete Your Temu Account Using the Mobile App

There are some differences if you're deleting your Temu account via the mobile app. However, the steps are the same regardless of whether you use iOS or Android.

1. First, open the Temu app and log into your account. After logging into the app, click the profile icon titled You on the bottom navigation bar.
2. Next, click the Settings (gear-shaped) icon in the upper right corner.
3. In the Settings menu, select Account security > Delete your Temu account. Mark the box that says "I want to permanently delete my Temu account." Next, click Continue.
4. Similar to the web version, you'll need to select a reason for deleting your account. Select one and click Continue > Continue deleting. A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm your choice. Then click Delete.
5. Now, you'll have to verify your identity. Choose the option that works best for you. Then, hit Confirm to finalize the process.

After completing the process, the app will automatically log you out and send you a confirmation email about the account deletion.

When you delete your Temu account, it won't be deleted immediately. Instead, there is a 7-day grace period before the Temu database permanently erases your account. During this time, you have a final chance to reconsider your decision to leave the Temu community.

If you change your mind and decide to keep your Temu account, you can easily cancel the deletion request. To do this, sign in with your existing credentials to your Temu account.
