Does the Bible say money is good?
Biblical teachings on money emphasize our need to steward it wisely and never let it become more important than it is. We are encouraged to love God and people, never money. Money should be used as a tool to help the less fortunate and to spread the message of Jesus to people who haven't heard.

Money, in the Bible, is treated as a good thing that sinful people tend to value incorrectly and pursue indiscriminately, but received in the right spirit, it should be understood as a blessing and not a curse. Many modern Bible scholars don't care a great deal for that ending.
Money, for the follower of Jesus, is a tool for the kingdom. 2. “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full” (Matthew 6:2).
God blesses His people with many resources, including money, but that blessing comes with the responsibility of using it for God's glory. After all, everything comes from Him. Therefore, Christians must use their gifts by His will (1 Corinthians 4:7), being good stewards or "caretakers" of what God has entrusted.
“Sell your possessions and give to the poor” (Luke 12:33; Matt. 6:2–4). Jesus provides a basis for our giving now: “'Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom'” (Luke 12:32).
Additionally, it is wise to not have a greedy obsession with money, putting a love of money before your love for God. Hebrews 13:5 tells us, "Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
God Wants To Be Honored
Pro 3:9 KJV Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: God in His fullness and infinite glory is not in need of any earthly treasure; money inclusive. However, God greatly appreciates it when we give Him our wealth because He views it as a way of honor.
Money is one of the gifts of God for man to enjoy when we learn to toil for it. Ecclesiastes 5:18-20- “Behold, what I have seen to be good and fitting is to eat and drink and find enjoyment in all the toil with which one toils under the sun the few days of his life that God has given him, for this is his lot.
One of God's purposes for wealth is to build a relationship with us. How God guides you to use your money will reflect who He created you to be. In other words, wealth is a way to participate in the creative process with God. 1 Corinthians 3:9 (ESV) says, “For we are God's fellow workers.
Does Jesus care about money?
Jesus definitely taught on money as well as the rest of the New Testament. Yet, it's simply inaccurate (and inappropriate) to say Jesus spoke more about finances than anything else. It's just not true. If anything, he spoke more about the kingdom of God than other topics.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Jesus spoke about money, not because he was obsessed with money, or that he wanted us to have lots of it, but because he knew that money was a heart issue and that it is one of the most likely reasons for someone to not follow him or to give up on him.
1 Timothy 6:10
In the book of 1 Timothy, we're reminded that “the love of money is the root of all kinds of evils.” When you crave money—and all the things money can buy—above all else, you're not putting your faith in God. These things don't draw you closer to God, rather they pull you away from him.
Proverbs 10:22: The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it. 2 Corinthians 9:8: And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.
When you put money in perspective and recognize why it was given to you, it becomes a blessing instead of a curse. And by using your wealth for charitable and philanthropic purposes instead of spending it all on the desire of the moment, your money becomes eternal.
In order to be blessed financially by the Lord, you must follow the financial principles that God has given us in His Word. Jesus set out the most important principle, the principle of giving. Luke 6:38 (NIV) Give, and it will be given to you.
Of course, both the materially poor and the rich are equally in need of a Savior – and Jesus is deeply concerned that both hear and respond to the good news of his kingdom.
According to God's Word, there are four fundamental purposes for money: to provide for basic needs, to confirm direction, to give to those in need, and to illustrate God's power and care in provision.
What the Bible says about borrowing: Exodus 22:14 - If anything is borrowed, it should be paid back. If what is borrowed is lost or injured, full restitution must be made. Ps 37:21 - The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives.

What is money called in the Bible?
Mammon /ˈmæmən/ in the New Testament of the Bible is commonly thought to mean money, material wealth, or any entity that promises wealth, and is associated with the greedy pursuit of gain.
God wants you to be financially free so you can put Him first in your life and be sensitive to His voice, ready to follow Him whenever -- and wherever -- He leads.
The Old Testament meaningfully portrays poverty as a sign of unfaithfulness to Yahweh or an evil caused by Israel's elite's class, while emphasising that God is the protector of the poor.
While tithing 10% of your income is biblical, that doesn't mean you have to be a Christian to tithe. It also doesn't mean you're a bad Christian if you don't tithe.
Wealth can indeed signify a blessing. When we talk about wealth as a sign of God's blessing, we must first consider God's character as it is revealed in scripture. 'Wealth' in this context doesn't just refer to money itself but rather the diversity and splendour of creation.
